EUDOKIA KRILL née Swidrak passed away. Born December 27, 1926 Maidan Verkhnyi, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast.
Fifteen-year-old Eudokia was taken by German Nazis for forced labor in Austria, where she survived the Second World War. There she met her husband, Dmytro
Krill, and after the war they moved to England where their first daughter, Rosemarie, was born. In 1951, the family immigrated to the USA.
In America, Eudokia was a member of St. George’s UGCC in New York; a long-time active member of the community of Hunter (NY) and a supporter
of the St. John the Baptist; and a member of the Ukrainian National Association. From 1958, she was an active member of Branch 1 of the Ukrainian
National Womens League of America, In 2008 she received an award for the 50th anniversary of membership in the UNWLA.
Eudokia is survived by her daughter Hanya Krill-Pyziur with her husband Max Pyziur, granddaughter Laryssa Wozniak Bacon with her husband Ryan,
great-granddaughters Talia and Nina Bacon, as well as family in the diaspora and in Ukraine.
She was preceded in death by her husband †Dmytro Krill (1911–1983), daughter †Rosmarie Krill-Wozniak (1950–2020),
and her husband †Yaroslav Wozniak (1946–2012).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made
to your preferred organization in support the defense of Ukraine.
