Basic Direct Cremation: $2,500 Includes:

• Transfer from the place of death to the funeral home within New York’s five boroughs.

• Basic services of the funeral director and staff, filing necessary authorizations, securing the death certificate and obtaining certified copies

• Service vehicle to the crematory

• Cardboard alternative container

• Crematory charges ($200  Crematory  in  Linden NJ)

• NYC Cremation Permit & NYC Filing Fee (Permit- $41.20 Filing Fee- $5.55)

• Only additional charge is for NYS Death Certificates ($15 per copy)

If you select another crematory, the charges will be adjusted accordingly. The cremated remains will be returned to the funeral home where they can be claimed by a family member or other authorized person.

Urns, Keepsake Memorials, Memorial Prayer Cards, Engraved Name Plates, and Religious Cross’s are also available for purchase at Jarema Funeral home.
